We select only the finest 100% Arabica, Organic, Fairtrade coffee beans and with a little help from the palates of our Mozzo Coffee Masters, we develop an espresso and filter blend consistent in taste and quality.

The first blend, Mozzo Espresso Coffee is made to suit and shine when used in all traditional and bean2cup espresso machines, while the second blend, Mozzo Filter Coffee is designed to meet the demands of all filter, bulk brew and cafetiere based coffee making equipment.

The reasons for developing two blends lies in the different pressure and extraction processes between espresso coffee machines and filter or cafetiere equipment.

Espresso machines (both traditional and bean2cup machines) brew and extract the flavours from a coffee using intense pressure; while filter and cafetiere equipment use a drip process to extract the taste of the coffee.

The different extraction methods place different demands on coffee beans.

Throw into the mix the fact that different coffee beans depending on their country of origin will be more suitable to either an espresso or filter coffee blend makes it impossible to have a coffee blend that delivers the best results in terms of quality, taste and consistency when used in both espresso and filter coffee machines.

Therefore, the Mozzo Coffee Masters develop two blends; an espresso and filter blend. Not necessarily using the same beans for each blend but using the right mix of origins to ensure when serving or drinking Mozzo Coffee from any coffee machine you will enjoy a consistently high quality, great tasting ethical coffee.
