Why Art?Art has been a pillar of Mozzo from day one. Starting with the Art on the Cart Award™ back in 2005 to where it has evolved to now as Art on the Brand™.

The Art on the Card Award™ evolved from the need to provide a unique platform for community art groups and artists to propel their work into the heart and soul of the modern urban environment.

Every month a new artist was given the opportunity to showcase their art on the cart. Working together with art gallery, a space, 3 finalists were chosen at the end of the year.

Their art was featured for 3 weeks on the cart for Southampton’s public to vote for their favourite local artist.

Taking things a step further Mozzo started to feature the work of artists on their coffee bags, creating another platform of exposure. As things have progressed, Art on the Brand™ has evolved to create further platforms and exposure for emerging artistic talent across the UK.

Tent CardThrough Art on the Brand™, we now commission a new emerging artist every 3 months to create an original piece of art for our series.

We encourage artists to consider thoughts around community and vibrancy when creating their piece. Art on the Brand™ is about bringing people together through art by provoking thought and sparking conversation.

Each piece is featured on as much as possible from coffee bags and boxes, to postcards, limited edition prints, loyalty cards and screen savers; all distributed nationally through Mozzo’s partners and the people we work with.

In the time each artist works with Mozzo, their work will be seen on over 25,000 bags of coffee,1,000 coffee boxes, 20,000 postcards and an ever increasing number of website hits; giving them the opportunity to show the nation what they can do as well as utilising the growing Mozzo network of gallery owners and curators, national press and art agencies.
