Doodle Earth – Series 09.03:
Doodlearth is an interactive art installation formed by creative film makers, Squint Opera and award winning illustrator Serge Seidlitz.
This piece was created at the launch of Doodle Bar in Battersea, white washed from top to bottom and with a specially commissioned doodlemural of the river Thames flowing across the walls. It’s a place that encourages everyone to doodle on the walls, tables, chairs and even the waiters!
The aim is to create a vision of the imagined city resulting in a collage of doodlers hopes and fears, supporting creativity in the community.
“We believe in the Freedom of Doodle. We wanted to create a space that will act as a platform for people to get together, to inspire, share, develop and evolve their ideas, unleash their potential creativity, and have fun! The aim is to make The Doodle Bar into a walk in, constantly evolving work of art, created as a collaboration between all those who visit.” says Jules from Squint Opera.”
