Sticks and stones did break those bones!
It’s not every month that we have two Mozzo Masters sitting at their desks with their arms in a cast.
Rach’s little car crash was one of those unfortunates but seriously, Stretch, did you not get taught to use a saw instead of your arm to cut a piece of wood?
Next month we’ll be thinking of a new theme- Extreme Antics Part 2. Ideas welcome!
The Mozzo Coffee Training Master
Like with all Mozzo Coffee Masters, a slight obsession with coffee is always a bonus. Lucky for us we know a girl that has just that. She goes by the name of Miranda and this month she became the official Mozzo Coffee Training Master! Obviously we’d be spoiling the fun if we told you everything that was up our sleeves but Miranda will be heading up our crew of Mozzo Coffee Trainers along with some other exciting projects soon to be unfolding.
For the past 5 years Miranda has been running her own barista training and consultancy company, Coffee Lovers. Mozzo has been incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to not only work with Miranda in previous years but to now have her expertise solely focusing on what we do here at Mozzo World. Watch out!
Doodle on… and on… and on…
It can not be an understatement to say that the launch of the Doodle Bar in Battersea got a few (ok, a lot) of people very excited!
A concept started by illustrator Serge Seidlitz and in collaboration with Squint Opera, Doodlearth has been travelling the globe bringing illustrators together to create some awesome results.
The idea behind the Doodle Bar has been to create a space covered in doodles by anyone and everyone with a few pros dropped into the mix. Check out the video to see what we got up to on the night.
Vivienne Westwood Studios to Nickelodian TV have already been doodling so if you’re feeling creative and have the urge to doodle on a wall, sofa or Mozzo Coffee Machine, get on down to Battersea, where not surprisingly Mozzo coffee is on tap to help get that inspiration flowing.
Ice ice baby… dun dun dun dun da da da da
We’ve had so many requests coming in these past few weeks for our iced latte recipe that it seems maybe we should be thinking about setting up an Iced Beanline™. So for those of you that have yet to call in here’s how it goes…
You will need:
1 x very loud blender with jug
1 x 12oz drinking receptacle
1 x double shot of magic Mozzo Coffee
1 x hand of ice- average sized hands preferred
6oz cold milk
20ml flavoured syrup- optional
Method:
Put coffee, ice, milk and syrup in to jug
Blend until very smooth
Pour and serve
The Tabernacle Goes Live
You could say that we pride ourselves on some of the very cool venues we have our coffee served in. These guys at The Tabernacle are no exception.
Providing live music, comedy, theatre, dance film and poetry, they’ve seen the likes of Pink Floyd, The Clash and recently that naughty young lady, Lily Allen perform under their roof.
A very cool venue indeed.
Escape to the Island
Did you know it’s a little known fact that coffee and garlic go very well together?
Ok, that’s a load of rubbish but it got you thinking!
However, the arrival of Mozzo Coffee seems to be going down very well at the Garlic Farm Café on the Isle of Wight.
Wrap your ears around this…
We’ve just been introduced to the very different sounds of Animal Collective. It’s hard to describe a particular genre but freak folk and noise pop are already out there. A collection of stateside guys all bringing something completely different into the mix. Let us know what you think…
