May 2009
Hello to the beginning of summer!
It’s no surprise that we haven’t stopped for breath since the last Bean Bulletin! Coffee consumption in Mozzo World has possibly reached an all time high.
Mozzing about on the river!
We’ve talked about Deli Adriano before- awesome coffee for a start!
Based in Warsash and run by the fantastic Phill and Carmen, we find they are always on some sort of adventure- Last month Phil returned from a trip in Africa working with Hands at Work, a charity focused on supporting orphaned children and widows. Continuing the support, the Deli team will be attending this year’s Dragon Boat racing on the freshwater lake in Cosham to raise money for Hands at Work and Naomi House, a children’s hospice in Hampshire.
Two brave Mozzo Masters, Grant and Stretch will be testing their physical powers to make up the 16 strong team of paddlers! We’re most certainly expecting better results than the Shoreditch Grand Prix- Stretch! Come on down and show your support or as ever, you are more than welcome to call donations into the Beanline™ 02380 700 007!
On a quest for the best!
Soho has just seen the launch of the Pastry Pilgrim. A veritable delight of cupcakes, pasties and things most scrumptious, you really will find it slightly difficult to abstain from filling your mouth! Follow their progress on Twitter or better than that, take a visit and expand on your Mozzo escapades…
Hampstead Tea

Mozzo has been looking far and wide for a new tea partner and we have successfully found it! Taking things one step further, Hampstead Tea are not only all out Fairtrade and organic but biodynamic as well.
Their teas are outstanding in quality and so far the response has been very impressive. Rach recommends the Assam, Ginger Green and Rosehip Hibiscus. Get in touch on the Beanline™ 02380 700 007 if you fancy giving them a go.
Ready steady go…!
It’s widely known that the Mozzo Masters are fitness fanatics. This year’s exertions are lead by Stretch and his not so tall brother. They’ve signed up first with the Ineos Beaulieu Triathlon and the excitement is catching… Sarah at Pott’s Pantry will be getting her shorts on for the London to Brighton bike ride! We’ll let you know who’s next to sign up…
N.B. The inspiring Tankini photos have mysteriously disappeared so apologies for this.
May- the month of GREENNESS
Do you ever think that things just couldn’t get anymore green in the month of May? Send in your green spring photos to the Beanline™ and we’ll send a bag of our best to the greenest snap out there! Green people also accepted.
Entries close 25th May.
Wrap Your Ears Around This- SpaceBaby
Ready for those long long chilled summer evenings? Yeh man, we are! If you’re planning some proper British Summer fun or going a little further across the channel, we suggest plugging in those headphones, relaxing with a possibly pretentious Long Island Iced Tea and chilling the night away to SpaceBaby. It doesn’t get much better.
