Apologies for the tardiness!
We haven’t disappeared, we just got a bit busy, so hello! What with the usual Mozzo happenings we also found the next member of the gang…
Filling up the office
Rach has come on board to head up our marketing and branding. Straight from running her own mail order business for the last 3 years, Rachael joins Mozzo as the next team member to bring a whole new skill set. Alongside all things creative Rachael can cook up a great coffee or two, indeed some of you may recognise her as the face of Pott’s Pantry Coffees at Winchester Farmer’s Market. Please excuse her unseasonal tan… she joined us then left for a holiday!!!
Farmer Grant and Stretch
With the Potter girls away in the land of sun, it was time for Grant and Stretch to take to the rails and run Pott’s Pantry’s Coffee stall at Winchester Farmer’s Market. Fresh is the first word that comes to mind- fresh in the morning! It was VERY enjoyable and a real trip down memory lane being back in front of the customers again.
Did we ever mention that our Stretch is a pretty competitive guy? Well apparently he is. We did a fine job getting ourselves prepared. We also did a fine job at getting in the lead but that’s about as good as it gets. It seems the ‘staying in the lead’ bit didn’t work.

Let’s start at the beginning…
We started off well in that the bike looked awesome… hand painted by Rodda (past Art on the Bag Artist), it was by far the most striking trike on the grid! Due to Stretch being of the stretchy variety he needed a little adjustment to create enough distance from the seat to the peddles. This was done with the assistance of a case of magic Mozzo beans to sit on top of. Let me remind you that this is the bit of the race where things were looking gooood. The problems started when the rain came and the box started to collapse. Needless to say, the more vertically challenged participants of the race sped on through and BASH Creations were crowned winners. Congrats guys and no offence on the height thing!
Courvoisier 500 Selection
Since its inception in 2007 the Courvoisier 500, in association with the Observer newspaper, shouts about the rising stars of Britain. This year they have invited our very own Grant Lang to join the 500. Why? Maybe they just wanted some good coffee to follow the Courvoisier after dinner…?
Green ideas

Get powered up while you walk.
Ever get to a meeting and pull out your laptop to find it’s a bit dead? Not any more. Oh no no. Voltaic back packs not only power your laptop, phone and PDA while your on the move but are made from recycled drinks bottles as well. Sounds like big greeny points to me. View More
NoPoPo!
If you ask me, this is verging on the ridiculous but down at Mozzo we’ll give most things a whirl. How about batteries powered by urine? You can use beer as an alternative but we figure you want to be drinking the beer first! View More
Get your ears round this…
Smooth riders this month are Southampton’s Part Time Heroes. Down right cool funky jazz and a little zero 7 mixed in with some Psapp for good measure. Dreamy sounds for pure pleasure.
