As we hit the summer months, be it rain or shine, team Mozzo continue to find plenty of new adventures for the Magic beans, from the muddy fields of Glastonbury to the sunny sights of the Isle of Wight festival, the adventure has only just begun!
 One Hel’ of a good festival…
June saw the Magic Mozzo beans brave the mud of the Glastonbury festival, invited by Helen and the team at Hel’s Angels team at the Guardian’s Yurt Café. Hel’s Angels kept artists and festival goers happy with a mix of art, food and drink… all washed down with a magic Mozzo Coffee or two. Well quite few actually with over 3000 being drunk in 3 days, no wonder no one was sleeping!
 Back on the road with Greenbean…
We have been taking a trip back to our roots of late, with Stephen and Michele, founders of the Greenbean Mobile Coffee Co. inviting the magic Mozzo Coffee beans to join them on their green, mobile coffee adventure.
Shortly to hit the streets of Straford-Upon-Avon serving the up local businesses with a host of fine local products and a cup of Mozzo magic!
 All Greenbean van’s will be powered the natural way… a mix of wind and solar… just the original Mozzo Community Coffee Cart (link this to the Mozzo story part of website) back in 2005. Who knows… perhaps one day the Mozzo and Greenbean carts may get to race… but until then you can catch the original Mozzo Cart and a magic coffee making a guest appearance at Ben & Jerry’s Sundae Festival!
Spreading the Mozzo magic…
Winners of ‘best restaurant’ at the recent Theme Awards 2008, and with the likes of Giles Coren of the Times quoting this as ‘the most important restaurant to open in London in the past 200 years’, Acorn House is out to transform the way in which people eat out… just like here at Mozzo we are on a mission to transform the coffee industry.
Setting the standards as London’s first entirely eco-friendly training restaurant, we were stoked to get a call from the Acorn House team. The Gatsby…
A great bar/ restaurant in the heart of Berkhamsted… where if you don’t fancy a iced cold beer or need a pick me after a meal before the drive home you can find that boost by enjoying a magic Mozzo Coffee.
An outstanding pub/ restaurant set at the waters edge of the Grand Union Canal near Warwick/ Leamington… and now that sun has reappeared a place to visit with its delightful mix of waterside location, great food, drink and of course Mozzo Coffee! View more info.
Coffee Tips and Tricks…
Were feeling confident this month that summer has arrived so here’s a little tip on how to shake, rattle and roll your way to a classic iced coffee! All you need is… 2 shots of espresso (or use a stove pot); some fresh, cold full fat organic milk; a bunch of iced cubes; a cocktail shaker (stainless steel works best!) and some sugar syrup (or brown sugar). Simply add the iced cubes to the shaker, pour the espresso over the ice, add sugar and shake till coffee covers the ice, pour into a tall, chilled glass, fill with milk, stir and serve… cool beans indeed!
